Here is a book on print by Karel martens, it has a very busy layout, which fully explores the print process throughout the book and creates a unique feel for each page. the design makes full use of the page and uses minimum boarders, this again makes the book look more interesting, in most cases this would look overcrowded however due to the detail in the design, this adds a specialist feel to the book.
this book also uses french leaf pages, this is a style of binding pages which is not commonly used, this has allowed the designer to overlap the layout onto back pages, making this a continues design, which builds suspense throughout the book.
i will look into using a similar style of pages for my book.
